Castledaly GAA Notes

Castledaly Playground and Walking Track remain CLOSED to public for
the new few weeks for repairs etc.
In line with GAA plans for a safe return to action, Castledaly GAA
football training will resume in the next few days under the guidance
of respective underage trainers and mentors.
The five main safety steps remain the same as since lockdown started –
frequent hand washing, social distancing, avoid touching eyes, nose
and mouth, covering mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze, and if
you have fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical care
early.
Lotto
Our GAA Club Lotto Draw resumes on 5th July with Jackpot at 10,800
euro. Annual Lotto Tickets are on sale from all committee members at
35 euro for 18 draws from July to March 2021. We thank you all for
your continued support. This Lotto draw is of particular importance
this year to fund the club activities and we urge all supporters to
make every effort to make it as successful as possible, especially
under the current circumstances.
Best wishes to all Irish peacekeeping troops traveling to Lebanon this
week, including popular club mate and footballer Conor Foley; who
delivered many exciting and entertaining scores for the club over
recent years.
Our condolences to the family and friends of Detective Garda Colm
Horkan of Castlerea, Co Roscommon , so died tragically during the
week. Originally from Mayo, Colm was a proud member of the
Charlestown Sarsfields GAA club and his beloved GAA jersey was
displayed during his funeral in recognition.
Our sympathies to everyone who lost loved ones in recent weeks. Ar
dheis Dé go raibh a n-anamacha uaisle.
