Castledaly LGFA was founded in February 2020 on foot of a proposal put forward at Castledaly GAA’s 2019 AGM.   Following a very well supported parents meeting and support from the Castledaly GAA Executive the LGFA Committee was put in place to assist in provision of football for U8 and U10 girls. The Girls continue to play with the Boys but also have the opportunity to take part in LGFA Competitions throughout the County. The First Training Session was held on the 1st March 2020 and was attended by almost 30 U8 and U10 girls.
